Bulk Employee Upload

The Bulk Employee Upload feature allows HR administrators to create or update multiple employee records at once using a spreadsheet file, saving significant time during onboarding or data migration.

Accessing Bulk Upload

  • Navigate to People > Upload Employees from the left navigation menu.
  • This feature requires the Employee Batch Update permission.

Upload Process

  • Download the provided template file to ensure your data is formatted correctly.
  • Fill in the employee details in the template, following the column headers and data format guidelines.
  • Upload the completed file using the upload interface.
  • The system will validate the data and display any errors or warnings before processing.
  • Review the validation results and correct any issues in the file if needed.
  • Confirm the upload to create or update employee records in bulk.

Important Notes

  • Ensure all required fields are filled in before uploading.
  • The system will skip rows with validation errors and process valid entries.
  • A summary report is provided after the upload completes, showing successful and failed records.
  • Bulk upload supports both creating new employees and updating existing records.
